Notes: Rohrbach cites two collections, one collected by Hooker in Sikkim, and this one collected by Thomson at the Sasser pass. There are many duplicates of both collections, and it is possible that they have been intermingled by mistake. Plants from western Tibet etc often have much shorter stems and a manyleaved rosette (like the isotype in K). The Sikkim plants should perhaps be referred to as S. nepalensis.
